Inharvest, Inc Financial Systems Analyst in Woodland, California

The Financial Systems Analyst, located in Woodland CA and reporting to the CFO, will be the financial systems application expert. This role will use, analyze and lead improvements, working closely with end users and information services, using current applications to streamline business intelligence and enhance decision making.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Document processes:

  • Inventory costing analysis

  • Inventory controls on the inbound, transfers and sales of goods

  • SKU analysis

  • Margin analysis by product family, item family, and customer

  • Sales buying group program analysis

  • Sales planning and budget process to align with SKU analysis

  • Production variance analysis

  • Training for system users based on the employee role

Lead process automation and workflow projects:

  • Purchase order to Payment processing

  • Advanced commissions for our partners and sales teams

  • Product pricing table updates

  • Implementation of business intelligence tools

Provide analysis of business processes to suggest improvement, propose automation, and streamline business intelligence and decision making.

Provide reviews of existing processes to ensure they maintain consistent application of generally accepted accounting principles.

Provide support for operations by preparing reports and completing analysis of operating performance.

Occasional travel, as required, to Colusa, CA and Bemidji, MN.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of Finance, Accounting or Analyst experience.

  • BA degree is Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Communications or Information Technology is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite applications.

  • Experience with financial information systems.

  • Aptitude for problem solving, documentation, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.

  • Results oriented.

  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment.
