John C Flood Inc. HVAC Service Technician - $2500 Sign on Bonus in Woodbridge, Virginia

Currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for a fast paced Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical Service Company located in Northern Virginia. Individual must have an approachable personality and motivational skills, and possesses excellent skills in customer service for communicating with customers and co-workers.

John C. Flood has served this metro area for over 100 years. Areas of service include plumbing, heating, A/C, electrical, water mains, sewer and bath remodeling services.

Qualified candidate must be good with sales, service background and closing the deal.


  • Install air conditioning and heating equipment and systems

  • Replace compressors, blower fans, motors, and miscellaneous parts for HVAC units as directed.

  • Keep maintenance records on HVAC units and customers as required.

  • Resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Communicate and educate customers regarding their HVAC system

  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.

  • Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.

  • Occasional overtime or shift work required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in HVAC field service or installation

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems

  • Strong diagnostic skills

  • Ability to communicate issues and make recommendations to the customer

  • Honesty, proficiency, integrity and a good work ethic.

  • Candidates must have valid license and clean driving record.

  • Candidates must undergo a basic background investigation including criminal background check, and drug testing.

  • Ability to lift or manipulate heavy equipment

  • Ability to climb tall ladders and work in tight places

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Salary range - $65,000 - $85,000
