Technical Project Manager

Key Role:

Design and develop system architectures, define key capabilities and performance requirements, define system implementation approaches and operational concepts, and apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Serve as a thought leader on a collaborative, fast-growing, and highly skilled software development team for innovative products. Work on complex technical problems and provide highly innovative solutions, develop advanced technology ideas, and guide their development into a final product. Support in defining project opportunities on client delivery, writing SDLC documents, and supporting and leading the planning and executing of agile development projects. Manage and work with technical staff in the delivery of technical capabilities across multiple projects and maintain responsibility for quality delivery on time and under budget. Manage client relationships, ensure that requirements are met, and evaluate project performance. Manage projects assigned to the team, including cost, schedule, and technical performance for all deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with project management experience for large-scale IT systems or system integration

-5+ years of experience in supporting systems development projects using Agile or Scrum project methodologies

-5+ years of experience in eliciting system requirements and documenting in formal requirements documents and MS Visio process and architecture visual diagrams

-Experience with JIRA and Confluence

-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Cloud platform technologies, including Amazon Web Services

-Experience with development practices in a DevOps environment

-Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment with peers and leadership

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in CS or a related engineering field
