Alexis Bittar is seeking a Boutique Manager to oversee our CityCenter location in Washington, DC

Principal Accountabilities:

This position is responsible for achieving financial targets, evaluating and developing business, building highly motivated teams and strong relationships with the cross functional departments. The SM is responsible for supervising the execution of strategic company business initiatives and driving results. Responsible for overall management of staff, recruiting, hiring, training, developing and retaining store teams, measuring success utilizing KPI’s, merchandising, operations, visual merchandising, client development, driving traffic through salesmanship, displays, marketing/PR/ Events and protecting company assets for their store. The Store Manager is a brand ambassador representing Alexis Bittar. Targets include top line sales, bottom line profits, training, development, retention and motivation, increasing traffic and brand building.

Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Achieve the store’s sales and profit budgets through consistent sales motivation and expense control.

  • Achieve the store’s payroll budget goals through effective staffing and sales productivity (SPH). Manage store expenses.

  • Track and ensure that KPI metrics are clearly communicated and achieved.

  • Develop an action plan to correct negative trends and achieve store goals.

  • Model exemplary selling techniques and customer service.

  • Prepare and send nightly and weekly business recap.

Customer

  • Ensure that sales associates are developing and maintaining long-term clients through the effective use of customer service, client books, and events.

  • Develop local outreach to network within the community to develop customer base to increase sales.

  • Develop marketing and advertising strategy to build customer awareness to increase traffic and sales.

  • Develop and execute a minimum of 4 in store events per year to build customer base and increase sales.

HR

  • Recruit, train, supervise and retain store staff.

  • Ensure that associates are trained in all aspects of their job responsibilities including customer service, clientele, company history, product knowledge, visual merchandising and store operations.

  • Motivate team to encourage positive work environment fostering friendly and service oriented atmosphere.

  • Create and monitor monthly/weekly schedule maximizing talent, payroll and store coverage.

  • Identify and train employees for development and growth within the store team and within the retail organization to build back bench for succession planning.

  • Organize monthly store meetings to communicate store expectations and priorities to the entire store team.

Operations

  • Maintain a consistently clean and well-maintained sales floor and stock room. Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the store.

  • Maintain store safety and abide by local, state, and government regulations.

  • Supervise the enforcement of company cash handling, loss prevention, store funds and deposit procedures.

  • Ensure that all visual and merchandising directives are implemented according to company standards.

  • Utilize maintenance and visual merchandise checklists regularly to ensure store standards are consistently being met.

  • Maintain efficient and organized office filing and in-store communication system.

  • Ensure all administrative responsibilities are completed promptly and accurately.

  • Identify and discuss operational issues and concerns with Regional Manager.

  • Perform other duties as directed by the retail home office.

Inventory

  • Insure product is replenished and re-stocked into case lines daily and as needed.

  • Ensure that product transfers, shipment, repairs and RTVs are accounted for with accuracy.

  • Analyze product sales performance and inventory needs and communicate to supervisor and retail team.

  • Regularly utilize store inventory audits to ensure consistent inventory control.

  • Achieve store inventory shrinkage budgets.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize; demonstrating logical analysis and thought process.

  • Demonstrates strong retail math and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrates good listening, written, and oral communication skills effectively and clearly communicates, reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency.

  • Able to build and maintain productive relationships with cross functional teams.

  • Possess high level of micro-soft office, power point, excel, word, and social networking platforms.

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving targeted objectives.

  • Commitment to working with products and analytics on a granular level.

  • Bachelor’s degree desired.High School Diploma required.
