Job Description

  • Provide overarching System Engineering support encompassing technical and analytical expertise to support DACS Technical Design, System Sustainment, multiple DACS operating environments including System Back Ups, Development, Staging, Production and Testing Environments, MILCLOUD and other cloud migrations, System Troubleshooting and System/Project Documentation.

  • Responsible for software installation, maintenance, upgrades and equipment refresh. Upgrades include software application upgrades and operating system patches.

  • Provide maintenance and assist with updating all systems operation documentation to include, but not limited to, technical documents, software development standards, network configuration design, system operating instructions, baseline configuration and similar types of documents.

  • Build documentation describing all new OpenText installs and OpenText modules configuration used to handle customer requirements. Maintain the inventory of software components including cataloguing, storage, security, sanitizing, distribution and disposals

  • Provide system migration support including supporting the migration of DACS from its current host system server in Oklahoma City, OK to a MILCLOUD or other cloud environment.

  • Leveraging the Designing Customized Administrator Tools for the eDocs DM and Live Link products to reduce man hours needed for administration.

  • Assisting in Designing, coding, and implementing a Custom eDocs CAC integrated Front end for Multi Agency eDocs Deployment

  • Providing a Designing and Implementing a Migration plan for the existing 70 Content Server installs that will provide for no down time migration to MILCLOUD.

  • Designing Custom ASP.net and .Net MVC website for custom login and Billing and account systems accessing information stored in SQL Database, Active Directory Attributes, and Content Server Web Services.

  • Utilizing developing Open Text Integration Center (OTIC) based Enterprise integration in compliance with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

  • Assisting in Identifying, tracking and resolving EDM system anomalies.

  • Implementing Open Source solutions and 3rd party software capture management solutions, such as Kofax or NSI Autostore, in concert with the OpenText platform to provide end-to-end business solutions.

  • Supporting the Installing, configuring, implementing, maintaining and supporting the OpenText product family including but not limited to AutoCad, Content Server, xECM for SAP Solutions, Application Governance and Archiving (AGA) for Microsoft SharePoint, Process Suite, Brava and Archive Server.

  • Creating technical documentation related to Standard Operating Procedures, Code Development Standards, System Architecture, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum DoD Secret clearance

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of software development experience

  • Must have technical capabilities including but not limited to: C#.NET, .NET MVC, LINQ-SQL, LINQ-Entity, Bootstrap 3.x+, Knockout 3.2+, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, XML

  • Proficient in Open Text Content Server 9.5.1 - 10.5.1, Oscript, Weblingo

  • Must have a Security+ CE certification

  • Understanding of task threading and asynchronous methods

  • Understanding of web services, serialization, dynamic JSON and XML

  • Understanding of token encryption/decryption

  • Understanding of Enterprise level system design

  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering efficient software solutions

  • Experience with DoD software security requirements

  • Knowledge of version control best practices

  • Ability to multi-task and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Ability to work effectively as a part of team as well as independently

  • Excellent problem solving and resolution skills

  • Good organization and time management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
