We are looking for a Sales and Service Manager to join us in Morocco within Kalmar Business Area. The candidate shall lead market area sales and service activities. In addition we expect the selected manager to develop integrated business targets and executing plans aligned with company’s outline strategy together with sales and service operation teams. This position is accountable for overall sales achievement in the scope and leads market acquisition and retention strategies, in order to maximize sales growth and optimize profits to the Company. You will be based in Casablanca and position requires extensive travelling, also on global level.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Provide leadership for Front Line operation and dealerships in Morocco.
Lead the activities of an operational unit (including most of the following activities: production, engineering, sales) in order to achieve its short and long-term strategic financial and operating objectives as set by the overall business plan.
Develop local marketing plans for the area in accordance with Kalmar strategy.
Set and monitor the performance of the unit against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management.
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at senior management level to develop and implement business strategies that are aligned with the business objectives, and translate these into plans.
Lead development of global sales strategies, review and advice on policies - pricing, products mix, and brand portfolio.
Pursue and develop concrete sales and service activities to maintain and increase the market shares.
Lead and develop the talents in the local organization by training and development, ensure retention of key persons.
Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of senior managers to ensure that the unit achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
Review and monitor sales performance, and refine sales strategies as required in discussion with companies within Group/Corporation.
Works closely with Marketing counterparts, and creates collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth globally.
Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
Establish clear and concrete individual targets for the members of the Kalmar management team in South Europe Market Area.
Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down
Keep up high level of compliance with Cargotec Code of Conduct in a challenging environment.
What you need to succeed
- University degree in business or technology or other relevant field of study
10+ years progressive experience in a key leadership/management role
Ideally experience in the industries
Experience of working in global and international business environment in a matrix organization
Strong financial skills
Understanding the basics of the contract law
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication and change management skills
Creative in finding solutions for customer requests
Fluent in English, French, Arabic
Willingness to travel
