Using SAP and labour modelling tools, you’ll create labour forecasts for each store in our national chain. With this information, you’ll calculate a labour budget that fits into the wider trading plan. You’ll also be able to see where we can save on costs and reduce labour spend. The key? To provide data in a format that’s easy to digest. After all, you’ll be working with people across the business and providing senior management with regular reports. With the help of your three-strong team, you’ll make data understandable and explain critical insights. You’ll need to coach your team to perform at their very best, while building relationship with teams who influence retail operations.
A bit about you
Although retail knowledge isn’t essential, it would certainly be useful. You’ll need to know how stores work, and their processes and procedures. But more important is experience of financial analysis and budgeting. You’ll need to know how to collate and interpret data, and how to present facts and insight. Of course, knowledge of how to use labour modelling tools is a must. You’ll combine this expertise with commercial acumen to give the business hugely valuable insight. An experienced leader with good business awareness, you’ll understand how other functions work and have excellent judgment.
