Description

Urology Clinics of North Texas is seeking an experienced payroll and benefits specialist to participate in the accurate and timely compilation, preparation and processing of payroll data in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.

  • Perform payroll processing quality assurance reviews and identifies training issues and/or problem prone processes to ensure optimal efficiency and error-free operations.

  • Provide guidance, training and support to all staff at all of UCNT locations.

  • Audit payroll and benefit records relating to personnel changes.

  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of personnel database.

  • Processes garnishment/child support set up, review and processing.

  • Provide weekly/monthly reports to accounting and other departments as needed.

  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of personnel database.

  • Benefits implementation and administration.

  • Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.

  • Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or other related field preferred

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resources focused on payroll and/or benefits

  • Intermediate Windows-based including, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Internet Explorer and Outlook

  • Knowledge of HRIS Systems; preferably PayCom

  • Working knowledge of employment law, wage and hour laws and regulations, and EEO law

  • Ability to effectively interact with associates at all levels within and outside of the organization

  • Developed written, oral communication and presentation skills

  • Developed project management skills

  • Ability to adjust work schedule according to the business needs

  • Resourceful, highly organized, and able to prioritize

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently

  • Excellent attention to detail
