Summary

DHL Express is hiring a Billing Supervisor to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team.In this role, you will plan, organize and addresses billing processes.Additional tasks and accountabilities include but are not limited to:

Main Responsibilities

Customer deliverables

·Delivers services and solutions to customers to meet budget, quality and service levels.

·Build regular contact with customers to understand their priorities and requirements.

·Anticipate potential business risks.

·Ensure to be compliance with internal/external controls (CRISP).

·Develops strategy / plans that deliver simple, sustainable solution.

·Solves customer issues in a timely and responsive manner.

·Proactively reviews and improves internal processes that do not meet the customer’s needs.

·Build trust based on respect and results.

People Management

·Great skills to manage staff performance.

·Visibly allocates time / resources and provides opportunities to support employee development.

·Holds self and managers in own team / area accountable for establishing and managing employee development plans.

·Reviews and manages succession planning /career progression.

·Provides the environment and resources necessary to achieve targets.

·Actively seeks to grow employees by gradually extending decision making freedom.

·Communicate IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

·Execute properly all daily/monthly administrative tasks, such as: performance dialogues, one:one, great team meeting, etc.

Processes

·To manage the people, processes and tools efficiency to ensure the execution of billing in accordance with SLA’s, while aiming to achieve optimal cost and the strategic objectives for the billing operation.

·To lead and manage daily operations, capacity planning, billing quality and operational KPI

·Supporting Billing and CMF strategic.

·Oversees that all billing process are in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.

·Responsible of giving follow up to Global/regional/local projects and other objectives of the area.

·Performs the monthly billing close.

·Suggest and stimulate the improvement of processes within the team, in order to contribute to increase efficiency, completeness, quality of Billing and root causes resolution

·Proactively investigates and evaluates best practices from other areas in order to improve solutions / services

·Keeps confidentiality of information, and be responsible of managing correctly confidential information, using proper labeling when necessary.

·Performs other duties and work on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

·Bachelor in Accounting or Finance.

·A minimum of 5 years of SSC work experience, including leadership positions.

·Familiarity with ERP and/or billing and rating applications with global footprint.

·PC skills should include the basic suite of MS products and Office tools.

·Project Management or project exposure experience.

·Ability to elaborate, propose and implement initiatives based on statistical data.

·Excellent communication skills.

·Advanced knowledge of English language.

·Should show initiative.

·Should be analytical.
