Aerotek Mechanical Drafter in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Job Description:Designers/Drafters work with design engineers to translate concepts into fully documented designs. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of 3D models and detailed drawings. Applications include cockpits and instruments for flight simulators.
Work Environment:Work is to be performed in an office setting, interfacing with both mechanical and electrical engineering teams as well as drafting/designing team.
All qualified candidates will be required to have an ACTIVE DOD Secret Security Clearance
Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Ability to work in a collaborative environment to develop innovative solutions
Working knowledge of ASME drafting standards including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Must have an existing Secret Security Clearance
Associates Degree in Engineering or equivalent training
Advanced SolidWorks training
Experience using SolidWorks Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM)
Design/drawing checking experience
Familiarity with aircraft cockpit systems
