Position Summary The Fixed Frame Awning Assembler is responsible for stapling fabric to metal/aluminum frames and lacing fabric to metal frames. This is an intermediate level position working under limited supervision. Reports to the Manager of Installation/Retail Production. Work situations are varied and require strong physical strengths and abilities. Position will work with both internal and external contacts. Experience : One year experience in stretching, stapling, or clamping fabric to a fixed frame preferred Education : High school graduate preferred Current Washington State Driver's License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established Rainier Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state preferred Physical Requirements : Constant standing and walking Frequent physical demands requiring mobile dexterity to include bending, stooping, pulling, climbing, and reaching Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, frequent team lifts greater than 50 pounds Frequently reaching with hands and arms; Use hands to finger, handle, feel, pull or grab Infrequent exposure to extreme high temperatures Infrequent exposure to extreme weather/environment conditions Rainier Industries, LTD provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
