What Your Typical Day Will Be:

  • Ensures proper and up-to-date certificates, licenses and other training documents are on file and in sync with the company-wide training database

  • Notifies employees, immediate supervisors and division directors of outstanding training requirements and/or impending expiration of training certifications

  • Assesses need for additional training sessions based on analysis of upcoming needs and coordinates scheduling accordingly

  • Audits training programs and certifications to ensure they are in compliance with appropriate regulatory and client requirements

  • Researches alternative options and delivery methods for required trainings

  • Promote/Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about timing of upcoming training opportunities

  • Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed

  • Evaluate training effectiveness by assessing application of learning to job performance; recommending future training programs

  • Assess retention and compliance of protocols and policies, and determine the impact failure to comply has on our ability to provide exceptional client support and services. Report successes and concerns to the Supervisor. Assist in the creation of improvement plans for areas of concern and focus.

  • Communicate training status of new employees to the rest of the team

  • Research and recommend new training methods, like gamification

  • In partnership with the HR team, assist in the development, administration and coordination of a technician apprenticeship programs, including developing and maintaining partnerships with area trade schools

  • Conducting post-training follow-ups

  • Updating training materials as needed

  • Coordinate with other departments/employees within the company and assist with special projects as needed

  • Work cohesively with all other administrative support throughout the VectorUSA organization

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Table:

  • High school diploma / GED

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience interacting directly with customers is required, experience with training programs and/or project management preferred

  • Must be flexible in day to day dealings with all internal and external interactions

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint: including working with, manipulating, and creating spreadsheets

  • Detail oriented and capable of producing quality work with minimal errors

  • Excellent customer service skills; able to work as part of a team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Positive “How can I be of service” attitude and proactive approach to responsibilities

  • Strong time management skills; ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

  • The ability to take directives from multiple sources while managing workload

  • Professional demeanor. You must demonstrate emotional maturity and sound judgment.

  • You really need to be a self-starter; extremely well organized, detail oriented and capable of prioritizing numerous tasks in order to meet strict deadlines.

  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week during standard business hours

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a related field, or equivalent corporate or military training

  • Experience with training programs and/or project management preferred
