Title: Sales and Marketing Analyst
Location: USA-Texas-The Woodlands
Responsible for supporting Global Business Development for the Lummus Technology segment. This position is a cross-functional role that functions as a global sales & marketing analyst. Job responsibilities include a high volume of detailed data analytics as well as high level conceptual thinking.
DataAnalysis – Ability to gather, manipulate, and analyze data (both qualitativeand quantitative) and generate conclusions based on available information.
DataPresentation – Ability to present and justify findings in a method effective tothe audience.
Implementation– Can be given a complex problem and will work through to a solution withlimited additional management.
OrganizationalAwareness – Has good people resource skills and will be able to navigate theorganization to find appropriate resources as needed. Good at buildingrelationships and resolving conflicts. Ability to work with all functions andlevels of management.
GraphicDesign and Marketing – Has the ability to “improve” the aesthetics of draftpresentations (e.g. color schemes, graphics, charts and graphs, enhancingtake-away messages.) Has the ability to develop content and presentations basedon and initial idea or overall message.
ProcessContinuation and Improvement – Ability to quickly adapt to new processes andwork flows. Ability to identity potential changes in work flow to promoteefficiency.
Gatherprospect status reports from Business Development Managers (BDMs).
PrepareSales Pipeline spreadsheets and reports (with Finance/Accounting interface).
Generatereports from the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Liaiseand coordinate up to date reporting for intercompany (Technology and OnshoreEPC) pull-through opportunities.
Analyzeand digest 3 rd party market reports (market consultants, newsoutlets, etc.) to identify industry, market, customer, and competitor trends.
Developreports and presentations from qualitative and quantitative information on bothroutine and ad-hoc basis for internal and external audiences.
Minimumof 5 years of industry experience. Exposure to the Process Technology businessis a plus.
B.S. inChemical Engineering preferred. Background in quantitative analytics disciplinesalso considered.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office required.
Musthave advanced skills in Excel. Functionalities include but not limited to:pivot tables, charts, data analysis, advanced formulas, and formatting.
Musthave advanced skills in Power Point. Functionality include but not limited to: smartart, charts, graphs, formatting, animations, and graphic design.
Workingknowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
Musthave excellent personal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must beteam oriented and highly energetic.
Must bewilling to work with different functions and all levels of management.
Workingknowledge of SharePoint is a plus.
Workingknowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus.
