The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center - McGovern Medical School is seeking an Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellow for a full time Staff Physician position.

This is a one-year position from July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019

As well as providing clinical service as an attending at the Memorial Hermann and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospitals helping to supervise medical care in the Emergency Center, the fellowship will entail:

-Instruction in the performance of basic and advanced emergency ultrasound

-Education and study in the history, practice, and current literature of the field

-Integral participation in the administration and quality-assurance of an emergency

ultrasound program

-Exploration of the role of ultrasound in the academic and community practice of

emergency medicine

-Participation in at least 1 primary research project

Minimum Qualification:

MD Degree

Completion of an accredited residency training program in Emergency Medicine

Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine
