Manages Tech Data Client Peripherals business. Works with Tech Data and their reseller partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities
Identifies and qualifies new channel partners and regularly engaged at client facilities
Develops, motivates and coordinates Dell EMC sales team and Channel sales team to optimize sales execution. Skillfully negotiates with others to achieve desired results and meet customer needs.
Identifies appropriate products and services to meet the full range of the channel’s needs. Identifies cost effective and practical alternatives for the customer by bundling products/service “solutions” to maximize Dell’s opportunity while meeting customer’s needs.
Identifies opportunities for Channel Partners to fill a geographic or vertical coverage gap.
Lead the Dell EMC client peripherals business at Tech Data by engaging with the Tech Data sales reps and partnering them up with the Dell EMC field reps.
Undergraduate degree and 8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4 years relevant experience
Must be located in Tampa/St. Pete, FL.
Requires relevant channel and distribution sales experience
Strong communication and presentation skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and leadership team
Sales/Selling solutions competencies required
Dell EMC certifications a plus
