Work with Customers to define needs and opportunities for Cisco hardware, maintenance and professional services in the following areas:

  • LAN/WAN, Wireless & Network Security

  • Unified Communications, Collaboration & Video

  • Data Center

  • Virtualization

  • Storage

  • Cloud & Managed Services

    Develop new business and drive gross profit by producing consistent and measurable financially sound (high margin) business relationships.

Prospecting and developing new customers through cold calling, emailing while maintaining a pipeline of qualified business.

Strategic account planning, extended resource engagement, sales cycle, Cisco Solution Selling, Managed Service Sales.

Articulate Cisco product benefits and advantages relative to competitor offerings.

Other responsibilities include weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast accuracy, pipeline development and customer satisfaction.

  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales with 2+ years selling Cisco Hardware.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of managing mid-to-large enterprise accounts, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations skills, and short/mid/long term opportunity management is essential.

  • Must be able to demonstrate skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.

  • Ability to position end-to-end solutions and articulate Cisco strategies to senior customer executives.

  • Ability and past experience on Partnering with C level Executives (both technical and non-technical)

  • Knowledge of Cisco Partner Channel is required.

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.

  • Strong time management, follow through and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated sales achievements

  • Must be willing to drive their own success

  • In-depth knowledge and mastery of key elements of the selling process

  • Must be willing to travel to local and non-local customer locations as required
