Job Description

If you are a skilled and friendly Shipping & Receiving Clerk who is seeking career satisfaction with a financially stable and growing company, join the team at MH Equipment! The warehouse employee is responsible to receive in and ship all products correctly, filling customer orders and communicating with multiple departments. This person is also responsible for organization and cleaning of the warehouse, proper labeling, communication and timely resolution to errors in Vendor shipments, returns and damaged goods.

Job Responsibilities

  • Shipping – Fill customers order accurately, pack and ship. Accurately pull inventory from received goods and inventory, pack and ship the order. Ensure goods received match goods ordered and are in saleable condition. Ensure the order is shipped completely, accurately, on time and in good condition in the most economical and timely manner. Picking tickets and shipping tickets will be printed often enough to ensure timely shipment.

  • Receiving – Receive all products physically and input in computer daily.

  • Stock – Organize and keep stock in the right bin locations and put away daily. Up-date bin locations as needed and keep properly labeled.

  • Transfer – All transfers will ship to the other branches or consignment customer at the end of each day.

  • Deliveries – Make deliveries to local customers as needed.

  • Housekeeping – Keep warehouse clean and organized.

  • Consignment write-ups – On occasion, you well be needed to count and record consignment inventories to develop replenishment order and refill stock.

Job Requirements

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk with MH Equipment, you must possess a positive attitude, superb verbal and written communication skills and great customer service skills. You must be able to communicate well over the phone, work successfully in a team environment and complete neat and timely paperwork. You must have a strong work ethic and sense of integrity, the desire to serve others and an eye for detail and accuracy. Additional Requirements for the Field Service Technician include:

  • Minimum of one year warehouse experience or similar training.

  • Experience in warehouse preferred

  • Computer skills preferred

  • Ability to follow written or oral instruction

  • Accuracy

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Flexibility and adaptability to tasks assigned

  • Willingness to learn new tasks

  • Forklift operator skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Must have ability to insure correct merchandise is received and shipped. Must have good communication skills in order to communicate with sales team, purchasing and customers.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.

  • Regular and prompt attendance.

  • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation.
