Cloud and Information Security Engineer

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for analyzing network security systems, including LAN and WAN, telecommunications, voice systems, or Internet and other information systems. Safeguard networks against unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend, communicate, and implement new security software or devices. Implement, enforce, communicate, and develop Internet, network, or other information security policies or security plans for data, Internet, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and computer installations. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems, and provide solutions that are highly creative. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help the firm grow its business.

Basic Qualifications:

-Ability to lead diverse teams as a facilitator and negotiator

-Ability to create and maintain high morale and camaraderie within and across teams

-Ability to execute major projects and achieve organizational goals

-Ability to work seamlessly with technical and non-technical program representatives

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoD 8570 IAM Level III Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with functioning as a task order, site, and team lead charged with advising government Delegated Authorizing Officials (DAOs)

-Experience with DCID 6/3 and ICD 503 frameworks and supporting methodologies

-Experience with external audits and internal inspections, including FISMA, FISCAM, CCRI, and OIG

-Ability to brief senior leadership on deficiencies, and provide realistic steps for remediation

-Ability to maintain the continuous monitoring, security, and compliance of multiple projects

-Ability to develop TSR DAORs to become SMEs and create custom training if gaps are identified

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree
