McKinstry Facilities Engineer in Spokane, Washington

We are currently seeking a Facilities Engineer to join the team as a member of our growing Enterprise Operations division in Spokane, Washington. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the base building systems supporting McKinstry corporate facilities, including building automation, lighting, and building access systems inclusive of administering card key access control. TThis position performs small projects under $100K in scope, furnishings modifications, small moves and repairs to existing furnishings, break-fix activities and facility event planning support. The Facility Engineer also responds to tenant requests for facility needs. This position is a key member of the Corporate Facilities emergency response team and is required to respond to all emergency situations. This person will be responsible for: Customer Service * Maintain positive and professional working relationships with internal and external clients. * Respond appropriately to customer requests for service in accordance with set service level agreement parameters. Maintain Corporate Facilities: * Resolve all facilities issues as assigned by work order system in accordance with key performance indicators. * Coordinates all scheduled maintenance with impacted personnel. * Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, oversees emergency and preventive maintenance. * Manages third party vendors such as landscaping, cleaning and janitorial, pest control, signage, parking, security, etc. * Maintains the building lighting system. * Complies with McKinstry Safety Policy and Procedures. * Completes maintenance and repair records as required. * Performs furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed * Inspect buildings, grounds, rooftops and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. * Troubleshoot, evaluate and recommend system repairs, upgrades or replacements. * Order parts and supplies for maintenance repairs.
