BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The position entails working in one of Unilever's top global brands. With a turnover of more than one billion Euros, Lux Skin Cleansing has a strong footprint in Developing & Emerging markets globally, holding leading market share positions in most countries where it operates. It is an icon of beauty across the world and the work over the past few years has seen a complete reshaping of the brand to take it to the next level of being a trend-setting brand – a status that Lux has enjoyed for 90 years among millions of women across the world.

The role involves working in Global Brand Development, business partnering with LatAm markets, including innovation and communication projects. This role reports to a Global Brand Manager.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Co-lead the development of Lux innovation roadmap and long-term strategy for the brand in LatAm

  • Working on innovation projects, effectively partnering with cross functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Artwork Excellence, Fragrance Team) to ensure successful and OTIF launches

  • Develop a deep understanding of category competitive environment in key LatAm markets (Brazil, Argentina and Mexico) & consumers insights

  • Collaborate with agency partners to create successful communication with best-in-class digital & content strategies

  • Be the voice of Lux across LatAm markets and the “brand ambassador”, playing a crucial role to ensure consistency with the global brand vision

RELEVANT SKILLS/ EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

We are looking for a highly-motivated, action-oriented and creative candidate with excellent communication skills and adept at working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

  • Experience in Marketing, preferably in leading innovation projects

  • Growth Mindset: willingness to think bigger and deliver better

  • Analytical Power: ability to transform data and consumer insights into brand growth opportunities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: build effective relationships remotely with teams based in different time-zones

  • Bias for action: a self-starter with ability to act fast and multitask in a fast-paced working environment

  • Eye for beauty: attention to details and consistently delivers high-quality work

  • Passionate and committed

  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
