Job Description:

Our client is one of the largest providers of commercial business information solutions. The purpose is to mitigate credit and supplier risk, increase cash flow and drive increased profitability. They also provide marketing solutions to increase revenue from new and existing customers and convert prospects into clients faster by enabling business professionals to research companies, executives and industries.

Objectives

  • Assess the completeness and accuracy of the in-scope test cases, to ensure they are in line with Work Day technical and functional designs.

  • Review the quality of the test cases to ensure they are properly tested, documented, quality assured, reviewed and approved by adequate project team members.

  • Review defect management process to ensure all the defects are properly tracked, documented, analyzed, re-tested and reviewed by manager.

  • Evaluate to ensure a comprehensive step-by-step system deployment plan are developed and exercised for a smooth system migration to the new production environment.

  • Assess the adequacy of project governance to ensure an adequate communication, deployment, training and post-mortem approach are in place before project go live.

Approach

  • Review Work Day Project related documents, include but not limited to: project charter, Technical Design and Functional Design, project timeline, score cards, cut-over strategy etc. to understand the project implementation requirements.

  • Review in-scope test cases and test results. Re-perform test cases on a sample basis to ensure the result is adequate and follow the proper change management control.

  • Follow the detailed Audit Announcement and program.

  • Individual will assess the adequacy of project governance and cut-over strategy, present any concern that hinder project from smooth transition to new production environment, by comparing to project management standards, and industry best practice.

Project Deliverables

  • Individual will work under the direction of Audit Manager, and provide the following deliverables to Audit Manager and Director of Audit Services, who is responsible for the approval of the deliverables and the success of the project.

The deliverables for this effort will contain the following:

  • Detailed review work paper / Re-performance document

  • Gap Analysis: Documented work papers and findings / recommendations from reviewing and testing of project test documentation.

  • Benchmark comparison of Company process and controls against best practices.

Qualification Required

Experience

  • Experienced with Work Day system

  • Technical with system implementation process, and understand the key risks and controls surrounding system go-live.

Skills

  • Analytics and critical thinking

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to articulate the observation to internally and externally.

  • Organized and committed to deliverables.

  • Team players
