National Medical Scheduler (Seattle, WA)

This individual is responsible to carry out day-to-day departmental tasks and complete all processes for screening incoming review and examination requests, preparing assessment information and materials for assignment to appropriate providers.

  1. To prepare high quality, complete packets of appropriate case review information and materials for submission to the contracted independent medical examiners and peer reviewer providers.

    1. To serve as company liaison with clients and practitioners/providers/facilities whose services are subject to review.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Screen incoming review requests for completeness of materials required to conduct the review of the case.

  2. Prepare, organize, distribute and present records, materials and forms required for a complete case review packet for providers

  3. Identify appropriate providers for case review or examination assignment including: determine their availability for a review or examination assignment and obtain information for delivery of the case to the provider if applicable.

  4. Contact clients to resolve questions, obtain information, records and/or materials needed for a case review and resolve

issues about active cases

  1. Respond to providers requests for additional information/materials necessary for a review and notify clients and other

internal departments of these needs, as applicable

  1. Coordinate and record phone consultations between practitioners/providers/facilities that are party to a review case

  2. Respond to inquiries from clients, other entities referring cases for review or examination and practitioners/providers/facilities

  3. Support all Quality Management initiatives

  4. Actively participate in the Complaint Process and Provider Relations assessment process

  5. Support all Compliance Program activities

  6. Provide backup support to staff in other areas as neededComplete other duties and responsibilities as directed


  1. Bachelors Degree

  2. Experience in customer service and/or an office setting


  1. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple high priorities

  2. Personal computer literacy and high competency in use of MS Word

  3. Strong detail orientation

  4. Strong organizational skills

  5. Strong oral and written communication skills

  6. Well developed customer service and training skills

  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  8. Understanding and knowledge of company's clients, products, departments and work flows, and applicable regulatory requirements

and accreditation standards
