UW Neighborhood Clinics (UWNC) has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Belltown Clinic! We are located Southeast of Downtown Seattle, 10 minutes from the Westlake Light Rail Station. The Belltown Neighborhood Clinic is only blocks away from major throughways making public transportation easily accessible!

When you join UWNC Belltown you not only become a part of our team, you become a part of the patient care team! As a UWNC Medical Assistant you will work as a member of our care team to provide care and support to patients and our operational needs. Your daily responsibilities will include the following types of things:
Welcoming patients and preparing them for their visit- rooming ,collecting vital and health maintenance
Assisting with clinical procedures
Performing diagnostic tests, including but not limited to: EKG, spirometry, and ear lavage
Preparing and administering medications and vaccines as ordered by the medical provider

Eligible candidates have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and currently have active Medical Assistant – Certification or Medical Assistant – Interim status with the Washington State Department of Health.
This position is full-time and comes with an excellent compensation package that includes a competitive starting salary, generous paid time off, and full benefits, including 401(k) and a 6% retirement plan contribution. UWNC also provides up to $99 monthly towards public transportation. UWNC proudly supports your continuing professional growth with up to $2500 annual tuition reimbursement.
