Navigant’s Global Construction Practice works with owners, developers, contractors, providers of capital, and their legal counsel to proactively manage risk on large capital investments through our advisory services and to forensically investigate project impacts for the resolution of claims through our dispute resolution services. Our advisory services include: program management, project financing assistance, project risk management, CPM scheduling, claims management, and business process improvement. Our dispute resolution services include: forensic scheduling, project cost/quantum analyses, and professional liability reviews. Navigant also has many qualified experts who have testified in a variety of dispute arenas, including: litigations, international arbitrations, and government contract disputes.


  • Supports detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity, contracts, change orders and other issues related to design and construction

  • Assists in the research and analysis of project cost records

  • Develops computer models of schedules, contractor production rates and costs using various software packages

  • Assists with data gathering activities including document review and supervision, and quality control of data entry activities

  • Supervises appropriate personnel including analysts, less experienced associates, client personnel, clerical support, and others as appropriate

  • Demonstrates proper documentation of work product

  • Responsible for limited engagement planning

  • Prepares client communications for senior level review

  • Coordinates administrative functions including time tracking and bill preparation

  • Supports company recruiting efforts through participation in campus events and office interviews

  • Supports company practice development efforts

  • Monitors individual chargeability and proactively seeks assignments to maintain projected chargeability

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics or similar field

  • Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry

  • Strong of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.Primavera Project Planner and project scheduling technique experience is highly preferred

  • Ability to research, including the use of the internet and other information sources and a solid knowledge base in their course of study

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Efficient, flexible, creative problem solving skills, a high level of motivation, and excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime when needed

  • Frequently communicates with clients and coworkers and must be able to share information effectively

  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently

  • Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously

  • Able to travel via airplane with minimal assistance to client sites across the US and potentially internationally

  • Usually remains stationary for the majority of the day

  • Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data
