SPPS is focused on our most engaged Selling Partners who pay to receive a higher level of service from Amazon. Our goal is to offer clear value through our paid programs that incentivizes Selling Partners to participate to grow their business on Amazon. At the same time, our program will improve Amazon customer experience by enabling more selection, better input management and fewer defects in their shopping experience. Our team will invent and innovate across technology, processes and people to improve selling partner engagement, enable scale and grow the program. The SPPS program is looking for an entrepreneurial, strategic and data-driven leader to lead, and develop the sales process for the SPPS Program focused on tier 1 Retail Selling Partners. The ideal candidate is an influential leader with experience in leading sales or business development for enterprise services in a consultative selling environment. They are able to build new processes bottoms up and continuously improve the sales process based on fast feedback loops. The candidate has a high threshold to handle ambiguity and deliver consistent results in a dynamic environment. They are proven leaders in successfully collaborating across functions. Key responsibilities include: * Working cross functionally with Product Management, Retail Category and SPPS Account Management to develop the overall go to market strategy for the SPPS program focused on tier 1 Selling Partners, and influence the product roadmap. * Collaborating with retail category vendor managers in the actual sales process representing the paid services program and guiding selling partners to take an informed decision about investing in SPPS. Co-own sales targets. * Developing customized sales propositions for selling partners to improve sales conversion. * Owning the program sales pipeline, including prospect identification, lead generation and reporting activities. * Participating in industry conventions and external forums to represent the SPPS program, evangelize and enable the sales process. * Influence Amazon retail and external leaders to drive positive sales and service experience outcomes for the paid services program. * Co-owning SPPS account retention by working closely with Account Management Operations to drive high vendor satisfaction with the service. Basic Qualifications 6+ years of successful enterprise class sales or account management experience, in retail or similar industries. Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications MBA Preferred Demonstrated success in sales using a consultative, solutions-focused approach Experience selling nascent products/services Superior written communication and presentation skills, including addressing large audience in a convention or conference set-up. Ability to dive deep and analyze team performance showing impactful results with data Experience in delivering strategic direction in a global or cross functional scale.
