Who You'll Work With:

You will be part of one of the fastest growing businesses in Cisco, Cloud Security team. Reporting into the operations team, you will partner with operation leads, business unit leads, and larger cisco finance organizations.

What You'll Do

  • Drive budget planning process throughout the organization, leveraging various organic and Cisco-standard tools and tracking mechanisms (ie.: Excel, cloud shared documents and files)

  • Establish transparency and accountability into upto the minute budget spend, identifying areas for softness, and driving areas of high ROI incremental investment

  • Build BU financial model, facilitating proactive planning and spend management.

  • Partner with Cisco Finance team, BU Leaders, and Operations team in ensuring uniform understanding of the budget spend and areas of improvement

  • Drive Budget Operational Reviews through structure and rhythm. Drive Actions as a follow up to closure.

  • Take part and contribute to the Strategic and Fiscal year planning including budgeting

  • Help individual functions understand their budget picture; ensure uniform understanding and alignment.

  • Partner with Vendor Management team within Operations team to identify areas of improvement, vendor negotiations, and budget optimization.

  • Develop Executive level internal and external business updates

  • Deliver operational and financial analysis as needed to drive continuous improvements in the business

  • Present Functional updates at various levels

Education, Experience and Skills needed

  • Experience in financial management/budget planning for a mature software/hardware organization

  • Relevant experience in planning, forecasting , budgeting and tracking

  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills: both verbal, written.

  • Ability to collaborate at various levels and work as a team

  • Project management / Program Management experience is a must

  • Prior Business Operations experience highly desirable

  • Bachelor or Masters in business, finance, or related areas; and 5-7 years of relevant experience
