Senior Photo Editor: Corporate Photo Production:

Oracle is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and senior Creative Image Researcher/Photo Editor. Responsibilities include curating imagery for Brand Image libraries,regional and special collections, helping develop Brand Library strategies and style.

As part of our team you will help to find and create compelling images turn abstract concepts to compelling visual stories.

You love photography. You are able to quickly assess an image and understand if it can successfully represent a marketing strategy or Brand initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Curate compelling image collection while Interpreting and establishing a strong visual brand to meet our corporate business objectives

-Research images from stock image sources

-Collaborate with supporting teams and participate in developing photo style direction

-Develop and document image research image curation processes for global implementation, and support with guidelines and best practices

-Prepare and organize images for review and approval

-Track and manage licensing agreements

-Use industry standard software for retouching of both stock images and custom photography assets

-Provide solid understanding of photo licenses; research/fact-finding, suggestion and solutions

-Prioritize multiple simultaneous projects effectively to meet deadlines

-Maintain, update, and organize corporate photography collection

- Maintain and develop relationships with variety of stock image vendors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-4 years working in a creative studio, in-house, or agency environment, with emphasis on image library curation, image content; image concept and production

-BFA or BA in Photography, advertising, or design or relevant industry experince is a must; design background is a plus

-Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, Word, Excel, Acrobat, Adobe inDesign, Adobe Lightroom, experience with Microsoft Powerpoint is a plus

-Expert in photo editing and image research

  • Strong understanding of industry and design trends

-Exceptional compositional skills,

-Expert in stock photography sources

-Exceptional understanding of image licensing terms

-Attention to detail; ability to multitask; and meet project deadlines

-Familiarity with the high technology industry and social media

-Impeccable spoken and written English communication skills

-Adaptive to changing priorities and critical deadlines

-Advanced time- and project-management skills

-Strong image retouching is required

  • Experience with Digital Asset Management is a plus

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.

Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns. Maintain regular interface within the organization and with external suppliers and agencies. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Use professional concepts, company policies, procedures and own creativity handling local campaigns - and arrange sign off with appropriate management level. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Provide support and input when assisting with partner advertising. Manage resources within the terms of project budget. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Five years relevant work experience. A proven track record in advertising across geography, five years experience, within a reputable global agency or major industry leader.
