Summary Provides financial analysis in order to identify cost saving measures; creates accurate financial statements in order to increase profitability of the company. The Analyst will be responsible for gathering accurate and timely information to prepare and provide operations reporting at month-end, quarter-end close and fulfill ad-hoc report requests. This position will also be responsible for advanced excel operations and be able to develop data queries as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Preparation of monthly and Year-to-Date variance explanations and statistical data for assigned areas of responsibility.

Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements for assigned areas of responsibility.

Assist in the preparation of Operating Budgets

Maintain, issue & reconcile budgeting templates

Work with team members to meet targets

Prepare budgets for new acquisition as needed

Monthly budget variance analysis

Works directly with the Regional CFO on all new business acquisitions

Internal/Ad Hoc Reports

Analyze, organize and evaluate substantial amounts of data in short periods of time.

Participates in special projects

Perform other duties as requested by Management

Follows company policies and procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.

Responsible for assisting with the development and training of team members as requested by their supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B A.) or equivalent; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of agency management software; Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Advanced proficiency in Excel techniques and working knowledge of PowerPoint.
