Our Software Quality Engineering team ensures that our next-generation software is of the highest quality. We conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that our software meets or exceeds end-user requirements. We debug software products, oversee the development of test plans, ensure system tests are documented, analyze the results, provide feedback to developers and make sure that all problems are resolved. We also select testing specifications for new products and ensure testing procedures comply with industry-specific standards.
Implement component and end-to-end level test cases for various Dell EMC product features
Design in-depth test cases for Dell EMC product features
Report bugs, communicate issues and verify solutions with the development team.
Work closely with the rest of the QA team, and collaborate with other QA teams within the organization if needed, to provide full test coverage during product release.
Work closely with IT to handle infrastructure challenges.
6-10+ years of Linux/Unix experience
Lead experience in test design and execution
Good scripting skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, Ruby, Perl
Good analytical and in-depth troubleshooting skills
Good team player
Concise and clear communication skills
Automation experience with AWS EC2, Azure or an equivalent Infrastructure-as-a-Service system
Coding/scripting experience on the Windows platform
Experience working with Docker containers
Experience working with Jenkins automated build system
