Shift Leaders in our restaurants run shifts daily, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. However, some of our strongest leaders are also in charge of Departments. These leaders’ responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems, like Training, Food Safety, and Internal Communications. Department Leaders are also responsible for setting goals for their departments, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other leaderss.

The Hospitality Department Leader’s responsibilities may include making sure Crew and Shift Leaders deliver an outstanding guest experience, that sales promotions are done well, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.

The Quality Department Leader’s responsibilities may include making sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers quickly, that food is always safe, that food cost is controlled, inventory is completely on an assigned basis, and that all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new items that are added to the menu.

The People Department Leader’s responsibilities may include making sure the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. This manager’s responsibilities may also include making sure Crew get off to a good start at the restaurant and that they are recognized, motivated, and developed throughout their time working there. The People Department manager may also be in charge creating an enthusiastic environment in the restaurant as well as maintaining the store's crew room and training materials.

Requirements:

*Minimum 1 year of Quick Service Restaurant management experience (McDonald's preferred but not required) *ServSafe Certification *Reliable transportation *Strong communication, time management, and math skills *Ability to be transferred to any of our 9 locations with prior notice
