The primary purpose of this position is:To function as an expert in the field of counterintelligence threat analysis support to the Air Force Office of Special Investigation's (AFOSI) Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS) mission.

- Manages the AFOSI FIS analysis and production program, prepares FIS related finished intelligence analysis reports, and provides focused FIS related support to counterintelligence investigations and operations.
- Conducts the AFOSI FIS collection program by directing, coordinating, reviewing and evaluating FIS related counterintelligence activities within AFOSI and coordinating those activities with DoD and national?level agencies.
- Incumbent serves as the primary point of contact for community outreach and external liaison at other DoD and non-DoD law enforcement agencies, and other relevant organizations on matters involving counterintelligence analysis.
- Directs day to day functions of junior analysts through the assignment and tracking of tasks.

- Incumbent is required to undergo a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
- Overtime may be required as workload demands and in some cases with no-notice due to urgency of tirne?sensitive matters. Periodic shift work may be required if assigned as a watch-standing analyst.
- Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement.
- Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. .hile conducting required coordination with AFOSI field units and national-level counterparts, incumbent will frequently be required to travel, by vehicle.
- Travel by regularly scheduled commercial or military conveyance in accordance with Joint Travel regulations may be required in performance of temporary duty. Incumbent will occasionally be required on temporary duty throughout the world including to
- emote locations with limited facilities. These temporary duty assignments could range from short duration to 179 days, and longer. While every effort will be made to schedule these assignments well in advance of the travel,
- travel may be required with extremely limited notice. It is imperative incumbent have an unlimited ability to perform such travel.
- This position is Emergency Essential (E-E). In event of a crisis situation, the incumbent, or a designated alternate, must continue to perform E-E duties until relieved by proper authority.
**Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge of FIS collections, operations, investigations, and analysis as well as a wide range of concepts governing the DoD counterintelligence mission and the relation of AFOSI' s counterintelligence program to the DoD counterintelligence mission and national intelligence objectives. Must be extremely knowledgeable of the terminologies, methodologies, research, and analytical techniques applied to highly complex assigmnents in counterintelligence and FIS collection and analysis and the ability to apply facts and estimates derived from numerous sources to a variety of problems having difficult technical aspects. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. AND

- Knowledge of the interplay of geographical, political, military, economic, and industrial forces in various regions of the world as well as intelligence and FIS threat entities, operations, and capabilities that may be directed against USAF, DoD and other US resources.
- Knowledge of US intelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases, and requirements to perform intelligence research planning, operations collection, target analysis, and other intelligence collection related activities.
- Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodologies of intelligence analysis and research to include link analysis and database manipulation.
- Skill in producing finished intelligence reports and other products that are responsive to the specific needs of customers to include formulating and conducting original research; collating, organizing, and analyzing information; resolving conflicts; and presenting clear and concise findings.
- Skill in handling classified data in accordance with established DoD procedures.**
