TheMarketing Directorat ConMet is responsible for collaborating on the planning and execution of our company’s overall marketing strategy by providing world-class marketing services to our various external/internal customers. This position at ConMet will have significant responsibility in facilitating the successful deployment of our aftermarket expansion efforts. This will include playing a major role in the digital arena by helping to create and optimize an e-commerce platform and systems to support the launch of new products.
Our Marketing Director will also be a key strategic and operational contributor in a wide variety of areas across the marketing spectrum, including product management, new product launches, internal and external communications, branding, sales and marketing materials, internet/intranet, social media, trade shows, public relations and more.
This position will be based at our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, implements and monitors marketing strategies to improve company’s presence and growth in the aftermarket
Creates go-to-market strategies and materials to differentiate ConMet’s superior technology products
Works collaboratively with other members of ConMet staff to complete marketing projects
Utilizes information from consumers or businesses to determine potential markets and recognize market trends
Maintains awareness of the relevance and importance of activities and how each contributes to achieving quality objectives
Serves as a steward of the ConMet brand including sales material and collateral, branding, value proposition, etc.
Bachelor’s degree required (preference would be for degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Writing, Public Relations or a closely related discipline); MBA preferred
Ten or more years of Marketing experience required
Corporate marketing experience required; experience in either consumer and/or industrial products highly preferred
Automotive and/or commercial transportation marketing experience highly preferred; automotive aftermarket experience highly preferred
Significant Experience with new product launches and promoting new lines of business in new market areas required
Experience integrating marketing with ERP systems preferred
Team/people leadership experience highly preferred
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
High level of written communication skills; Excellent verbal and presentation skills; Multilingual a plus
Excellent computer/web skills required, including proficiency in MS Office; additional skills using web/marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, web content management systems, etc preferred
Market data analytics, product marketing and/or new product category launch experience highly preferred
