DeVry Education Group Administrative Assistant in Pleasant Hill, California

Under direct supervision of the department head, performs clerical and support duties for the department.

Monday through Thursday from 10am to 7pm and Friday 8am-5pm.

  • Greets and assists visitors.

  • Answer telephone, convey messages, run errands

  • Proofread records or forms

  • Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, and reserves and prepares facilities.

  • Photocopies, collates and distributes correspondence, articles, reports, bulletins, etc.

  • Develop and maintain department filing systems.

  • Coordinates manager’s schedule and makes appointments.

  • Orders and maintain supplies, and arranges equipment maintenance

  • Refers questions and issues to others.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position.   • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous work experience a plus.

  • Typing skills of at least 40 wpm.

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
