Raytheon Sr SW Sys Technologist II in Pasadena, California

The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team of system analysts at different levels to configure, manage, and support CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) applications, including hardware/software architecture, configuration, implementation, deployment, and operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Gathering highly complex requirements, analyzing, planning, designing, configuring, testing, deploying, rolling out and maintaining highly complex enterprise software. Working closely with other senior team members in the design of the architecture and be involved in the configuration and integration of recommended CAE design tools. Developing and maintain user and technical manuals and guidelines Leading tasks for the implementation of new solutions, improvements to existing solutions, and general maintenance Will provide hands-on user support for a variety of CAE users at all levels of expertise Liaise with vendors, service providers, operations, and customers to assist in resolving problems with CAE provided applications. Security Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required as this position requires a current U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance. Education / Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other STEM field, with a minimum of 6 years of related experience. Requirements: 3+ years of experience with implementing and maintaining CAE type applications. Previous experience with software programming. Previous implementation and maintenance experience with PDM systems and Mechanical design software, preferably Siemens Teamcenter UA v10 or higher and Siemens NX version 10 or higher. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively capturing and communicating technical information at all levels. Able to communicate effectively with technical as well as non-technical staff. Excellent product delivery experience interfacing with sponsors, stakeholders, process owners, and users. Experience with large data systems utilized by Engineering organizations Experience with consulting and end user support. Familiarity with Windows operating system. Experience developing test cases and test plans. Desirable Skills: Previous working experience and expertise with the following software: MagicDraw, TeamWork Server, Git, JIRA, NX, IBM Rational products, SolidWorks, Code Checkers ITK development, C++, Java software programming experience Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Knowledge of Laboratory policies and procedures, NASA policies and procedures, and government regulations across a range of applications.
