The Occasions Group has a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced Project Manager, to join their Information Technology Team. The Senior Project Manager supports the organization by providing project management and leadership for large scale initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible to coordinate and manage projects and programs of high complexity and critical dates focused on new and existing customers

  • Works closely with several complex or technical objectives, internal and external resources, production components and approval processes

  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

  • Reviews status of reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required

  • Leads the on-boarding process for account/sales managers for high profile customers with high quality requirements and substantial financial impact to the organization

  • Managing the development and fulfillment of contract requirements

  • Acting as the liaison between the account manager and the rest of the organization

  • Ensuring department goals are achieved by managing to assigned timelines

  • Prepares project reports for management or others.

  • Organizes and documents findings of studies and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, etc.

  • Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.

Position Requirements

  1. Formal Education (minimum)
  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Associate of Arts or Bachelors degree in business preferred

  1. Prerequisite Work Experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related / relevant professional experience. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments.
