Program Manager

Key Role:

Act as single contract manager and authorized interface with the government contracting officer (CO), the contracting officer’s representative (COR), and government management personnel. Maintain responsibility for all technical and managerial aspects of a contract performance, including implementation, technical assistance, and program life-cycle support. Analyze policies and procedures for achieving the standards required for contract performance. Maintain authority over the resources necessary to accomplish the work. Maintain responsibility for program planning and management to meet product delivery, quality, and cost goals in support of a complex Navy program. Ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

-12+ years of experience as a US Navy officer

-10+ years of experience as a program manager supporting complex US Navy requirements

-Ability to solve complex challenges to support a large delivery effort with multiple workstreams and stakeholders

-Ability to assign, schedule, direct, and control the work efforts of technical, functional, and program specialists

-Ability to ensure conformity of work to prescribed standards and approve correspondence that expresses the contractor’s policy, performance status, schedule, and funding estimate

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-PMP Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a naval officer supporting operational or Fleet staff or Navy Echelon 2/3 headquarters

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including interacting with various management levels

-MA or MS degree preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
