The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Global Sales & Operations Specialist located at our Madison Ave. offices. The Global Sales & Operations (S&OP) Specialist is responsible for the creation of sales orders (SO) and purchase orders (PO) for all Brooks Brothers’ markets. As part of this role, the Global S&OP Specialist will contribute driving sales through deliveries tracking and optimization globally, for all product categories and supporting brand strategy. The Global S&OP Specialist will collaborate with regional market managers and Supply Planning to streamline the communication and to action senior management directions. The candidate will develop, implement and maintain reporting for senior management. The Global S&OP Specialist will have the opportunity to work with all regions around the globe, costing, sourcing, product development, global brand managers as well as the rest of supply chain team about garments deliveries and any issue related to it. The Global S&OP Specialist will create sales orders for all customers of Global Trading Company (GTC), in addition to the order management and delivery tracking of GTC inventory at the regional distributions centers. This role’s responsibility also includes the analysis of orders booked, tracking of POs, monitoring of the inbound deliveries, understanding fill-rates and providing customer service to markets around the globe.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage demand consolidation for both fashion and timeless classics assortments (in WOM), to accurately and timely create sales order for all Brooks Brothers’ markets

  • Identify, analyze and resolve any issues related to the creation of sales orders including master data, SAP configuration, customization and process exceptions

  • Run comparison analysis of market order data from WOM to SAP sales order creation

  • Collaborate with Global Retail Planners, Demand Planning and Supply Planning on the execution of the seasonal order processing and the monthly order processing for Timeless Classics

  • Responsible for ad-hoc sales orders creation, including off-cycle demand, chase orders, dual supply chain requests and other one-off requirements

  • Monitor information flows to downstream systems such as GT- Nexus and TPM

  • Report status of the order booking and on-time delivery by season, including percentage completion, service levels & lateness

  • Proactively communicate to management any issues related to the timely creation of sales, purchase orders and to the timely delivery to each single distribution center

  • Collaborate with markets on any issues related to their orders including difference in price, delivery date, quantities, transportation mode, and demand placement discrepancies

  • Create reports to support the internal S&OP meetings with Global Brand Managers and Retail Planning (especially the US one)

    The Global Sales & Operations Specialist will drive operations performance in the order management and delivery tracking functions by demonstrating the following core competencies:

  • Sales Order Management processes knowledge

  • Delivery tracking and basic logistics knowledge

  • Superior Communication Skills

  • Great Analytical Skills

  • SAP AFS technical experience

  • GT Nexus experience (it represents a plus)

  • Strong Organization and attention to details

Preferred Experience & Technical Proficiencies:

  • Business experience in all areas of the Sales Order Management cycle, including order processing, credit management, licensing and commissions, direct ship, third-party orders, VAS, multi-store orders, EDI, ASN’s, integration with warehouse systems, UCC128 labels, and customer invoicing

  • Business experience in all areas of the Purchase Order Management cycle, including Requisitions, Purchase orders, Contracts, vendor confirmations, Receipts, Invoicing EDI, ASN’s, integration with warehouse systems, UCC128 labels, and vendor invoicing

  • Minimum 3 years of SAP SD/MM experience and 1-year SAP AFS experience

  • Deep experience and knowledge of key integration points between SD and the MM and FICO modules.

  • Strong understanding of all types of order processing models, including B2B, B2C, EDI

  • Ability to see the big picture in providing a solution, taking into consideration the impact to SAP, non- SAP systems, and business process impacts

  • Ability to troubleshoot platform for SAP related issues including master data, configuration, and development objects.

  • Experience with Win-Shuttle (optional)

  • Strong organization skills
