The Learning & Organization Development Department has an exciting new senior consultant individual contributor opportunity, recently opened due to internal promotions and departmental growth , that will be instrumental in our organization’s future success. In addition to the core qualifications listed below, strong candidates are collaborative, action-oriented, customer-focused nimble learners and effective communicators, who can manage ambiguity, develop others, and navigate complex environments.
Candidates must have demonstrated successful performance in the following areas:
Developing and/or managing leadership and management programs aligned with overarching organization development objectives.
Consulting with clients at all levels (from staff to senior leadership) across the organization to understand underlying issues and to define performance and business objectives.
Identifying talent development/skill building solutions that meet the client’s goals and business objectives.
Facilitating interventions (e.g., talent development, learning programs) in a credible, influential, logical, and engaging manner appropriate to the audience and the subject matter.
Providing direction and leadership for new and existing large-scale talent development/learning programs across a complex matrixed organization.
Driving complex, medium to large scale initiatives with sponsors, key stakeholders, and team members. Using strong project management/leadership to drive initiatives from conception to evaluation.
Using multiple instructional design options and learning methodologies (e.g., classroom, online, blended, distance learning methods) leading to creative and innovative solutions.
Networking with external companies and vendors to stay abreast of emerging learning technologies and solutions.
Putting leading industry practices and solutions in the areas of technology-based learning and systems into practice to solve business and learning needs.
Leading design, development, and project management of mobile and other technology-based learning solutions.
Analyzing data, synthesizing themes and trends, and summarizing and presenting data in formats appropriate for the audience.
8+ years of progressive experience in talent development and/or organization development.
Master’s degree in Organization Psychology/Development/Leadership, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related discipline.
