Job Description

Our client in New Paltz is seeking a Spa Attendant to assist guests in their luxury spa, fitness, and pool area. You will contribute to the physical and emotional well-being of guests as they relax and unwind.Due to nature of position, only male candidates will be considered for employment.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Ensure all areas of the spa are prepared for opening and closing procedures – coordinate with housekeeping to assure that proper cleaning has been completed

  • Perform routine and deep cleaning of assigned areas

  • Daily inspections of bathrooms, lockers, steam rooms, and pools

  • Checks for and reports damaged or missing furniture

  • Other duties as assigned

The hours for this position are 1pm-9:30pm. It is full time, 40 hours per week, and you must be available to work on the weekends. Pay rate for this opportunity starts at $12.15 per hour.

Job Requirements

Spa Attendant Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Dependable and thorough in your work

  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not required
