SHI is seeking a Datacenter Generalist that will possess prior experience in Infrastructure, Virtualization and/or Network architecture. SHI is passionate about providing our customers with the right solutions that enable Data Center optimization. As more customers are relying on SHI to architect and deliver these solutions, our Enterprise Solutions Group needs the advanced skill to continue to meet the demand and needs of our customers.

 Responsible for the Data Center sales obtainment goals in supported territory

 Pipeline management and ownership for Data Center opportunities

 Account retention and penetrating multiple lines of Data Center business in existing accounts

 Interface with multiple layers of contacts within an organization, including but not limited to CIO, IT Directors, CTO, Application Managers, etc.

 Assist SHI sales reps with customer facing conference calls & presentations

 Lead Data Center Solution positioning and qualification conversations with customers

 Represent SHI at relevant industry events with speaking slots encouraged

 Drive the sales process of the solution, including identifying the opportunity, qualifying, forecasting, decision making criteria, and closing

 Builds the region/territory based on strategic account planning done in collaboration with the account executive and extended team

 Builds deep relationships and trust with customers and owns the technical side of customer relationships.

 Demonstrates leadership to ensure that the SHI’s recommended esolutions are comprehensive, achieve customer expectations and meet customer business needs and planning.

 Support RFPs by aligning key internal personnel to assist with responses

 Align SHI’s Professional Services portfolio with the solutions being developed

 Establish relationships with preferred Delivery partners, vet their performance acceptability, and build integration within the region

Extensive Data Center design and engineering experience. Prefer candidates with Storage, Server, BCDR, Virtualization, Networking and Security backgrounds. Previous experience with resell partners or manufactures also a plus. Must have excellent relationship skills. Should have experience with design and documenting various technology solutions. Need candidates with great presentation and communication skills. Must be able to work well in an unsupervised environment with several Sales Executives.
