Responsible for a sales quota based on a set of products and services, they get to know their portfolio inside and out. Our Inside Sales teams rely on them for technical advice during the sales process. They directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations, through to pricing and availability. Crucially, however complex the question, they’re ready to deliver technical solutions to meet customers’ needs via phone, chat, web or email.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction and guidance/mentor to team members and coaches others in closing the most complex deals

  • If account/acquisition focused individual responsible for highest revenue spend in business and/or account complexity within assigned business

  • Advanced level specialized sales representative, influencing how others engage and interact across the segment

  • Organizes senior internal/external resources in response to, and in anticipation of customer needs

  • Understands and leverages solutions and can explain how complex multi-faceted solutions will benefit the overall business

  • Effectively balances demands from multiple stakeholders, coordinating team where appropriate to ensure timely delivery

  • Most senior trusted advisor to the account team(s) in providing clear understanding and awareness of the benefit of all new products and services offered and the most complex and advanced solutions

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant proven experience in a Technical Sales environment

  • Uses strong knowledge base to build customer relationships and assist customers in developing business solutions using Dell specialized products and services

  • Strong level of competency in providing total solutions and providing cross segment teamwork

  • Exhibits a broad based knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding

  • Gains industry certifications
