The primary purpose of this position is; provideclinical care to patients in an out patient setting.
Ideally a minimum of two(2) years experience in a Family Practice setting. Knowledge of organization policies,regulations and procedures to administer patient care; common safety hazardsand precautions to establish a safe work environment. Applying and modifying the principles,methods and techniques of medicine to provide ongoing patient care; takingmedical history, assessing medical condition and interpreting findings;preparing and maintain records, writing reports, and responding tocorrespondence; developing and maintaining department quality assurance;establishing and maintaining effective working relations with patients,physicians, and the public. Maintainquality control standards; react calmly and effectively in emergencysituations; interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures; commitment toquality patient care and concepts of Family Medicine.
Graduated from an accreditedPhysician s Assistant Program.
National Commission on theCertification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) certified. Certification in Basic Life Support requiredand must be completed prior to end of orientation period. CME requirement: 100 hours every twoyears. Re-certification examinationevery six years.
