Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational leadership. Our team is comprised of finance, accounting, supply chain, corporate strategy & development and tax professionals that support and enhance Intuit's operating efficiencies.

The Small Business & Self Employed Group (“SBSEG”) is Intuit’s largest business unit with $2.5B+ in revenue, serving 5M+ customers with the QuickBooks line of products including accounting, payments, payroll and financing solutions. Specifically, the SBSEG Investments FP&A team leads the Technology, Product, Platform and Customer Success investment forecasting, analysis and reporting.

About the Investments FP&A Team:

We are responsible for forecasting, planning and analysis of the Technology, Product, Platform and Customer Success investments within SBSEG. In addition, we develop data driven insights and partner with key business leaders to execute our vision of being the “champion of those who dare to dream”. We also assist senior leaders in developing our 1 and 3-year strategic plans that ultimately manifest themselves in our financial commitments.

We are looking for a senior leader to lead SBSEG end-to-end investments FP&A team who is a creative problem solver with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business.

Responsibilities

  • Be a thought partner to senior business leaders with a focus on driving change and providing financial leadership as we execute our investment strategies

  • Lead 1 and 3-year strategic planning for investments across Product, Platform and Customer Success

  • Manage team of finance leaders and professionals, and continually interpret and analyze the operating results of the business to provide insightful recommendations that accelerate growth

  • Anticipate risks and opportunities relative to the current and long term strategic plan; lead discussions and develop actions to mitigate these risks and capitalize on growth opportunities across the investment portfolio

  • Translate business strategies and objectives to financial outcomes by developing trust with executives, engaging in constructive debate, and partnering with peer leaders, other business divisions, and across other finance functions (e.g., accounting, internal audit, finance operations)

  • Lead ongoing change in an evolving organization by articulating a clear case for change and then gaining shared vision with employees through effective, frequent and timely communication

  • Recruit, mentor and coach a high performing team; ensure members have the resources, tools, skills, and capabilities they require to provide exceptional finance support

Qualifications

  • 10+ years FP&A experience or equivalent tenure from related positions in corporate finance, accounting, investment banking, private equity, analytics, or management

  • Demonstrated experience leading high performing teams, ideally in high-growth software / SaaS environments

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with superlative ability to partner with senior executives, influence stakeholders using data and collaborate in an inclusive culture

  • Analytical orientation, creativity in problem solving and keen business acumen

  • Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility

  • Ability to work independently, deal with ambiguity, operate in a cross-functional matrixed organization, and meet deadlines in a high-growth environment focused on driving business results

  • Self-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; willing and able to initiate, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervision

  • Strong accounting knowledge especially in a software/SaaS environment

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management from a top institution; MBA preferred
