Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Senior Software Developer at its facility located at1800 W. Central Rd., Mount Prospect, IL 60056.The Senior Software Developer will serve as a technical expert in the installation, configuration, and implementation of Java-based technologies based on Service-Oriented Architecture using Agile development practices. S/he will formulate system scope and objectives by analyzing user requirements. S/he will prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. S/he will routinely apply best practices of software testing and secure coding techniques. S/he will participate in application support as well as project or group work. S/he will work closely with Bosch IT teams and the global user community to coordinate the new programs required to support the business needs. Telecommuting permitted 1 day/week.

Qualifications

REQS: Bachelor of Science degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, plus 5 years experience with enterprise portal development OR 8 years experience withenterprise portal development. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with the following: (1)developing J2EE portal platforms, including Liferay portal version 6.2 with springMVC framework and Struts framework; (2) designing and developing front-end technologies such as jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and JSP; (3) deployment within UNIX environment and server setup; (4) consumingweb services including REST and SOAP; (5) LDAP and SAML (SSO) integration of web applications; (6) using SDLC processes including agile methodology; (7) using development tools such as Eclipse, WCM andweb service technologies including GIT, Maven and Jenkin tools; and (8)design and develop enterprise platform using Elastic Search.Apply below.
