Alerus Financial Mortgage Strategy & Development Coordinator in Minnetonka, Minnesota

Position Summary: This role will serve as the head implementation manager for all major initiatives within the mortgage division. Initiatives to include digital mortgage, Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, centralized lock and disclosure desk, and marketing technology programs. Incumbent will work with division leaders to develop training materials and deliver training curriculum to support these key initiatives and other initiatives as added. Essential Responsibilities: Job Function Number 1 Onboarding and Training - 30%. Create, design and develop materials for a superior onboarding program for mortgage division employees. Lead the implementation and delivery of the program and provide ongoing support and feedback to management. Partner with operations & sales leadership to identify additional training needs with individual employees or the team, develop training and implement. Develop client service center scripting and training required to manage numerous pilots to determine the best approach for the Alerus Financial national mortgage program. Job Function Number 2 National Mortgage Program Support - 25%. Assist the Director, Mortgage with the development and execution of the national mortgage program. Assist with the recruitment and training of national sales team. Monitor success and provide feedback to leadership on required improvements to create a successful and sustainable program. Develop policies and procedures in conjunction with compliance expert and leadership to support the national model. Job Function Number 3 Technology Execution and Training - 25%. Salesforce subject matter expert. Work with Alerus Salesforce leadership team to develop and delivery training specific to our mortgage staff including training on how to effectively use the CRM to generate additional sales. Work with marketing to build out automated drip campaigns within Salesforce CRM system. Assist with supporting and troubleshooting Salesforce connectivity to Encompass and other third party sites. Act as a liaison between training, marketing and IT on technology needs and requirements for the mortgage division. Assist Alerus project managers and mortgage leadership with implementation and training related to the digital mortgage application to ensure a strong experience for the mortgage employees and our clients. Serve as the mortgage division subject matter expert on systems and process requirements used to support the mortgage business including marketing, mandatory delivery, pricing, disclosure and centralized lock desk. Work with leadership of these areas to develop and training to the business. Ensure systems and applications are working efficiently to effectively support mortgage processes and business needs. Job Function Number 4 Marketing Liaison - 20%. Lead the Mortgage Marketing Task Force to determine highest marketing needs. Act as a liaison to the marketing team on projects, managing progress and adhering to deadlines. Provide mortgage expertise to the marketing team when product/program flyers are developed and identify opportunities for developing marketing strategies. Assist with identifying outreach opportunities to generate leads and coordinate related events. Position Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience. Five or more years of experience in the mortgage industry with expertise in training and technology Experience with the following technology platforms or similar platforms preferred: Blend - digital application, Total Expert - marketing, Salesforce - CRM Proficient with Microsoft Personal Characteristics: Adaptable, flexible, organized and able to multi-task, work independently.
