Robert Half Finance is looking to fill a Senior Accountant position on a full-time basis in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities - Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) - Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external - Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Provide monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
