The ReDCo Group Outpatient Therapist in Milford, Pennsylvania
Abides by all current Behavioral Health Services and Outpatient policies and procedures as set forth by the agency and documents all required aspects of job duties. Maintains compliance with state and local regulations as well as standards of practice.
Applies psychological principles, methodology, and techniques to plan treatment and modify behavior and participates in a multi-disciplinary team meetings while providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy from Intake through discharge; provides community linkages as required.
Supports clients during Telepsychiatry services to promote effective communication, respond to immediate clinical needs.
Participates in staff development, in-service training sessions, supervision and Performance Quality Improvement initiatives and performs related work as required.
Knowledge of mental/medical disabilities, care and treatment, and social implications in relation to the individual and his/her environment, psychological/counseling theory, methods and practice.
Ability to prepare clear reports and communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to follow both oral and written instructions; proficiency in computer and office technology use.
Demonstrate analytical and problem‐solving skills abilities and distinguish among routine, urgent and emergent clinical needs.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field with 3 years minimum or Master’s Degree and one year experience; experience with insurance companies, internet and general computer skills.
