RF Engineer/Radio Frequency Engineer
All work will be conducted on-site in Middletown, RI
Job Summary: The RF Engineer will be responsible for developing Antenna and RF systems’ test plans, test procedures, and collect and record test data to support test reports in support of formal test events. Testing will be conducted at one or more of the following: test facilities, manufacturer facilities, intermediate test facilities, naval activities, and/or aboard naval vessels.
Testing: Software, RF, hardware and system developmental (DT&E), environmental qualification (EQT), interface, integration, shipyard, sea trials, underwater explosion (UNDEX), laboratory, SHIPALT, TEMPALT, operational (OPEVAL), Follow-on Test and Evaluation (FOT&E)
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree BS in Electrical Engineering or relevant equivalent technical engineering degree.
-5-10 years professional technical experience in design, development and implementation of digital hardware and software related to RF systems.
-Five (5) years’ experience in all aspects of laboratory and field testing, including setting test goals, developing test methodologies, organizing and conducting tests, reducing test data and analyzing results.
-Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
