St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Coordinator-Human Resources Communications in Memphis, Tennessee

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has an opportunity for a Human Resources Communications Coordinator. This unique and specialized position will have a primary focus on critical communications to internal employees in matters related to benefits and compensation. Under the general direction of the Director of HR/Internal Communications, this position will coordinate the planning, organizing, communication and implementation of multiple Human Resources projects. This position will collaborate with management and strategic partners to develop and support an overall employee communication and culture strategy.

This position requires the ability to:

  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Strategize and collaborate with key stakeholders, HR colleagues and other departments within the hospital

  • Maintain flexibility to quickly change focus and priorities

  • Build effective relationships and influence others

  • Use multiple communication platforms to engage customers and stakeholders

  • Work independently in a productive manner

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, public relations, journalism, English or a related field required.

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Three (3) years of experience in HR/business communications, journalism, public relations, communications or similar field with excellent written and oral communication skills required.

  • Healthcare or Human Resource communication experience preferred.

  • Excellent PC skills are a must.

  • Have a demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects and/or initiatives.

  • Possess a diverse working knowledge of multiple visual and communication media channels.
