3M is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst/Sub-con for the Automotive & Aerospace Solutions Divisionlocated in Maplewood, MN.Job Summary:The person hired for the position of Supply Chain Analyst Sub-con role will be responsible for managing the supply chains for core automotive businesses including the day to day operational tasks. This role will be responsible for leading subcontractors through interim, go-live and stabilization.This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Assist and lead Sub-contractors for SAP go-lives.Represent AASD at sub-con locations with a primary focus on the Trient location.Manage and assist analysts in streamlining Supply Chains prior to go-live.Complete Supply Chain Analysis and Design for current state, interim and future state with SAP.Manage requirements and data as needed for key delivery dates.Provide education and training to outsource locations in the areas of supply chain management, demand management, or planning tools.Communicate status, changes and other information within the division.Assist in planning, scheduling and reporting for key supply chains and sub-cons.Coordinates phase in/phase out and/or new product introduction activities to maximize customer service and meet business requirements.Works closely with business unit/division to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Analyze material flow parameters such as safety stock, order quantity, lot size, make cycle frequency, and replenishment interval. Procures materials, schedules production and distribution.Other items as necessaryBasic Qualifications:Possess a Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionMinimum of three (3) years ofSupply Chainexperience in a private, public, government or military environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and/or Business Administration from an accredited university3 years of supply chain related experience1 year of Experience leading cross functional teamsAPICS CertificationLean Six Sigma experienceISO/TS, auditing, MMOG/LE experienceSAP experienceExperience working directly with outsourced manufacturing locationsDemonstrated coaching, interpersonal communication, and team leadership ability.History of successfully applying business knowledge to support business needs and goals. Initiates, leads, and implements the process of supply chain problem identification and resolution.Experience with DSP, SCP, COMS, i2 Rhythm planning/analysis tools, Microsoft Access, Excel.
